3 Minute Demo: Bass VI in Country Music

Hey Everyone! I thought it would be fun to make a video showing a few examples of the six string bass' different uses in classic country songs. The Bass VI is an instrument that has fallen out of fashion in the country music genre, but it is all over some of our favorite old recordings. Not only does it have a distinct, classic sound, but it is also incredibly fun to play!

There's not too much more to say about this video, other than to thank you for watching! If you're curious about the gear I used or the recording setup, please let me know in a comment.

I used a Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI guitar for this video, and ran it into a Vintage Sound 22SC amp head. The speaker output of the head is running into a Two Note Captor X, and then I'm using a Deluxe speaker IR.
