Back again with another 3 Minute Demo (or close to three minutes, haha)!

I thought I would compare brass versus stainless steel bridge saddles for this video, and Bensonite Products was kind enough to send me a set of each for this video!

I did my best to keep the setup for each saddle set as exact as possible, with a margin of error at roughly 1/64 of an inch. Also, I recorded all of the guitar parts direct in, and reamped everything at the same time in order to eliminate mic placement variables and other similar issues. The amp I used was a 1964 Deluxe Reverb with an SM57 placed off-center. I want to emphasize that I realize the guitar tones in this video are not necessarily the best or most polished that they could be, but that was intentional -- I chose to keep the signal unimpeded by pedals, effects, EQ, etc. in order to give you the ability to hear what's going on.

I think it is also worth mentioning that you may need to turn the volume up pretty high to get the full effect of the "sustain test" portion of the video. Please leave a comment below with suggestions on future comparisons or ways this video could have been better!
