3 Minute Demo: Tremolo for Country Guitar

Hello everyone! My goal with this video was to give a few examples of how the tremolo effect has been used over the years in country music with the hopes that it might help you or spark a bit of creativity in your own playing. That said, I'm sure some of you will want to know about the gear I'm using. While this video is not sponsored by anyone, all of the tremolo you are hearing is coming from my Swamp Thang pedal by Monster Effects. The rest of the gear is as follows:

- 50's Country Instrumental (0:00 to 0:42)

1955 Fender Champ (all original)

Gretsch G6120

- 50's Country Shuffle (00:43 to 1:26)

1950 Fender Deluxe Amp (all original)

1979 Gretsch Country Club 7576

- 60's Country Ballad (1:27 to 2:16)

1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb (original, not reissue)

Partscaster Telecaster

- Modern Country (2:17 to 2:49)

1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb (original, not reissue)

Partscaster Telecaster

For anyone interested, the songs in order are modified takes on riffs and chords from: (1) Duane Eddy's "Rebel Rouser," (2) Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight," (3) Tammy Wynette's "D-I-V-O-R-C-E," and (4) Brad Paisley's "Time Well Wasted."

Thank you to Chris Carter for tracking the bass for the backing tracks!
