Playthrough: Leavin' Luttrell (Written by Steve Wariner)

Hello everyone! I thought I'd make a short little playthrough of one of my favorite Steve Wariner thumbstyle songs, "Leavin' Luttrell." This is the opening song of one of the best Chet Atkins tribute albums ever recorded in my opinion, C.G.P. My Tribute to Chet Atkins. I encourage everyone interested in this kind of music to check it out. While you're at it, also check out his "Guitar Laboratory" album -- another great Wariner guitar album! Steve Wariner is one of my favorite guitarists, and I hope this recording does him justice. I hope you enjoy it, and thank you so much for watching!

In this video, I am playing my Baldwin era 1979 Gretsch 7576 Country Club. I'm running the guitar through a Boss DD-3 for light delay going directly into an original 1964 Fender Deluxe Reverb. The amp's speaker output is running into a Two Notes Captor X, and I am using the Two Notes Wall of Sound plugin with the 1x12 Deluxe speaker impulse response.

For anyone curious about my guitar pick, I use a Fred Kelly Bumble Bee thumbpick.

I am not getting paid to use or talk about any of this gear -- I just really love it!
